Dilbert creator Scott Adams has encouraged the readers of his blog to write a song by simply asking them to come up with totally nonsensical rhyming couplets: Write a hit song
Amazingly from what they wrote, a song has emerged, been recorded and now there's even a music video:
Just how easy is it to write a song?

For me it's impossible.
Not because I have a problem with melodies - barely a day goes by when I'm not humming catchy hooks in my head that I itch to commit to score.
But because every time I've written lyrics seriously, I'm aghast at how indescribably, embarrassingly gash they are.
It's why I bought that shredder.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some humming to be getting along with.
