On random tonight Tender by Blur came on my iPod. It reminded me of a great moment at a Justine Frischmann gig (could have been Elastica but I can't remember). 13 had just come out and she was obviously pissed off by it. She said, "my ex just released an album of 13 tracks dissing me, I've written a song".
The lyrics were:

Not musical as such, but I did enjoy the Lily vs Cheryl scrap earlier this year. Especially when Chezza said "Lily, I'm sending you a free ticket to our sell-out arena tour - because it's the only way you'll ever see one". Class.
I *completely* forgot Lady Sovereign's trashing of Jentina. Apparently Jentina's first single, Bad Ass Strippa, got on Sov's nips so much that she circulated a version, based around the same O'Jays sample, named Sad Arse Strippa - which made Jentina a laughing stock and ultimately destroyed her career.
